Canadian born, Caribbean raised and was inspired by all forms of positive entertainment at a young age to pursue my own career in the industry. I’ve been doing stand up comedy since 2001 and have been working on a Hip Hop album since 2000.
I can’t exactly tell you when I figured out that this was my thing, all I knew was that I loved writing songs and making people laugh and never took my pen off the paper. Since I was able to do anything, getting involved with extra curricular and community activities has been my priority. Through athletics, academics and arts I’ve balanced my education and continued to pursue areas of major interest in each subject. If you don’t know what’s going on in the world around you who's going to invest in your two cents? In the meantime I’ve been persistently chasing my education through the University of Waterloo, Canada.
I study life as the big picture, the whole time just thinking of a way I could make something good happen with everything I’ve got. As time passed I realized I could transmit my life experiences through the microphone with a positive message behind it all. If it’s not in writing I’ll keep it in my head until I can get it down on paper and it only appeals to me to keep it all curse free. I hold extra respect for the artists who have pulled that off in the past (Maestro, Fresh Prince, K-os, Fr.Stan Fortuna etc). I still respect the major pillars in the Hip Hop community as they brought up the entire culture from the roots. As a comedian I respect the versatility of Eddie Murphy, the creativity of Cosby, Chappelle and Robin Williams and Chris Rock the one who was never scared to bring the pain and talk about real issues. I have many interests that range from having my own TV show to humanitarian development. However, there’s still a long road ahead of me but hey…why let your life pass you by….you gotta see it from the big picture.
