Calvin is a professional Urban Planner and graduate of the University of Waterloo, he returned in 2009 to his homeland Trinidad and Tobago to apply his skills. He believes strongly that there can be no sustainable development without sustainable urbanization. Planning decisions play an important role in the design of developments and the management of land use change. Better urban planning offers the best opportunity to reduce emissions directly impacting climate change. Calvin’s dream is to see sustainable infrastructure and communities become an integral part of the Caribbean landscape with updated and improved policies and legislation.
