Find your roots and you’ll find your trunk, Plant your base so you don’t lose your stump, Watch your prize, cut down the weeds, Take some shade but feed your leaves, Sparingly grow, but at your pace Spread your branches, giving others sun to taste, And when it’s rough, and when it’s night. The day will break and give you light. Time will pass, and thick you’ll be Producing fruit, and leaving seed. Old you’re grow, a home you’ll stay. a refuge, and place for others to find their way. -Caustan De Riggs
